About the role
We are looking for a dynamic eMAR (electronic Medication Administration Record) Operations Manager to lead our eMAR team with accountability for the eMAR P&L. You will be the primary contact for eMAR providers, playing a crucial part in transforming Boots Care Services to achieve our strategic ambition of market leadership. This is a Full-Time position based at our Nottingham Support Office.
You will report directly to the Head of Care Services and take on leadership of both the eMAR team and the Central Support Team. You will guide and support both teams to ensure efficient operations and adherence to regulatory standards. Your leadership will drive team objectives, optimise processes, and foster a collaborative environment aligned with organisational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Be an expert in eMAR, providing insights and guidance in the social care market.
* Lead the eMAR team to build a strong market presence and improve care homes and stores.
* Build and maintain good relationships with suppliers, focusing on compliance and cost savings.
* Enhance eMAR activities to improve customer experiences while managing costs.
* Keep project budgets on track to meet financial goals.
* Lead negotiations for National Accounts and eMAR tenders.
* Work with different teams, including customers and partners, to keep our eMAR offerings competitive.
* Contribute to leadership in care services, including strategy and transformation efforts.
What you’ll need to have:
* You are an organised, proactive professional with experience in operations, supplier management, and strategic development, with preferable experience in the social care or healthcare sector, but not essential.
* You thrive in collaborative environments and have a proven ability to drive continuous improvements while keeping costs under control.
* Excellent negotiation skills and a strategic mindset are essential.
