If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and love preparing fresh, quality ingredients, this role could be perfect for you Job Title: Prep Chef Location: Bannisters Restaurant, Boundary Outlet, Colne, Lancashire Job Type: 30-35 hours a week working 5 days out of 7 Key Responsibilities: Assist with the preparation of fresh ingredients. Support the Head Chef and team during busy service times. Ensure that food hygiene standards are maintained at all times. Help manage stock rotation, ingredient freshness, and kitchen cleanliness. Work efficiently to ensure all dishes are ready before service begins. What We’re Looking For: Previous experience in a similar role or in a busy kitchen environment. A passion for producing high-quality food. Knowledge of food hygiene standards and kitchen best practices. Ability to work well in a team and under pressure. HACCP and Food Hygiene certifications (preferred but not essential).
