We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Manager on a 12–18-month fixed term contract basis to manage a site move for our Basingstoke manufacturing facility.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will devise, implement and execute a detailed project plan according to established timelines. This will include machinery M&E and office fit outs.
Key duties.
* Continuously monitoring the project progress and ensure adherence with the project scope, budget and deadlines.
* Managing the quality and timeliness of a broad variety of projects across Real Estate, Facilities Management and CAPEX and provide financial reporting
* Creating and managing project budgets.
* Allocating resources effectively to maximize efficiency and ensure projects are delivered within budget.
* Ensuring projects comply with industry standards, health and safety regulations and company policies.
* Effectively collaborating with internal teams and managing external stakeholders.
* Identifying areas for continuous improvement focusing on both processes and efficiencies.
* Managing projects from input to design specification, tender, installation to commissioning, practical completion, handover, and invoicing.
* Attending Steer-Co and project meetings to discuss overarching project strategies and
* progress.
* Minimising disruption to the clinical continuity and mitigate / control project specific risks from unavailability and service performance deductions

What are we looking for?
To be considered for the Project Manager role you will have the following:
Essential skills and experience:
* Experience delivering a project from the design phase through to delivery
* Experience with mixed use new build projects, fit and refurbishment an advantage
* Experience of managing hard services FM projects ideally within manufacturing
* Operational and technical experience with demonstrated potential
* Technical expertise, qualifications or apprenticeship in a craft skill or engineering discipline
* Proven experience in Project Management and successful delivery of multitask building services related projects
* Hold sufficient Health and Safety (CDM) experience that allows the effective running of projects.
* Negotiation, risk management, compliance and contract management experience.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, effective stakeholder management acumen. Contract management experience.
* Understanding of the development cycle (business case, design, consents, procurement, delivery, handover and project management).
* Full UK Driving license - required
