Forest Care Selection are currently working with a regional care provider that offers a range of care and support services to individuals who are neurodivergent or have mental health conditions, based in the Kent area. This provider is seeking a Locality Manager to lead a small team of support workers that care for individuals in shared houses or self-contained flats across the Folkestone, Kent area. The Locality Manager in Folkestone, Kent will: Lead a small team of care professionals in the community, with full support from a Team Manager, who you will also directly manage. Implement systems and procedures designed to achieve positive outcomes for individuals who are neurodivergent or have mental health conditions. Become part of a team of service managers across Kent, who will liaise with the registered manager for the services. The Locality Manager in Folkestone, Kent will need the following: Previous supervisory experience working in a similar supported living, homecare or residential setting. An excellent understanding of delivering care & support to adults who are neurodivergent or have mental health conditions. Strong communication skills and can lead from the front Min of Level 4 in Health & Social Care and be prepared to work towards Level 5. Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
