Position: RE Teacher/RE Cover Supervisor Location: Bolton (BL6) Start Date: Immediate Competitive pay: £83.40-£100.00 per day Age Group: KS3/KS4 Contract: Full-Time About the Role: As a RE Teacher, you will work with students on a 1:1 and small group basis, as well as in whole-class settings. You will focus on helping students who need extra support with their work, ensuring they grasp essential concepts to improve their academic progress, exam results, and coursework. You will take on the responsibilities such as marking student’s work and planning lessons. Key Responsibilities: Plan and deliver high-quality RE lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students. Support students in small groups and 1:1 sessions, focusing on areas they find challenging. Help improve academic progress, exam results and coursework for students. Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the school’s vibrant teaching community.What Makes You a Great Fit for This Role: Must hold a (Qualified Teacher Status) QTS or hold a RE/Humanities Undergraduate degree/ PGCE Passion for the Religious Studies/humanities, teaching and helping students succeed. Experience working in a classroom or tutoring environment is desirable. Ability to work with students on a 1:1, group, and class basis. A full enhanced DBS check (can be processed through Smile Education). Confident in presenting lessons and managing a classroom environment.
