My client is looking for an experienced Assistant Management Accountant for a 12 month FIXED TERM opportunity based.
This Assistant Management Accountant will work remotely with travel to the Anover OR Dorset office.
The successful Assistant Management Accountant must have the following experience or skills:
1. Qualified in or working towards AAT or similar qualifications.
2. Assist in preparation of monthly management accounts to meet agreed deadlines.
3. Prepare and post monthly journals.
4. Run adhoc reports as requested.
5. Analyse management accounts with the assistance of the Management Accountant in order to create budget statements in preparation for monthly management accounts meeting with budget holders.
6. Carry out reconciliations to cost centres, identifying reasons for adverse profit positions.
7. Provide budget holders with support in understanding their management accounts.
8. Assist in providing accurate and timely information to the service charge team.
9. Support the Management Accountant in the budget/forecast setting process.
10. Ensure the accurate billing of both internal and external customers.
11. Bring to the attention of the Management Accountant any areas of concern/issues that need to be addressed.
12. Work with other members of the Finance team to improve the functionality of the business area.
13. Comply with financial regulations, policy and procedures.
14. Provide customers with accurate, timely, relevant and detailed information when requested.
This role is paying up to £36,000 Plus benefits.
