We are seeking several dedicated and experienced Team Managers to oversee the management of various Motor Claims Teams within a dynamic environment, within Northampton.
Reporting to Senior Management, your key responsibilities include:
* Supervise and guide Claims Handlers to ensure adherence to agreed SLA’s and KPI’s.
* Approve claims settlements within allocated financial boundaries.
* Ensure team proficiency in policy wordings, internal guides and processes.
* Collaborate with clients to meet specific needs, attending review meetings as needed.
* Maintain accurate reserves and controlled costs.
* Work closely with other departments, for litigated cases to ensure compliance with standards.
* Act as the main point of contact for any escalations and resolve complaints promptly.
* Ensure timely completion of annual appraisals, monthly 1-2-1 sessions and agreed development plans.
Requirements:
* Previous experience as a Claims Team Leader in a regulated environment, whilst it would be ideal if your experience is within Motor Claims, we can consider those from various claims background.
* Commitment to exceptional client service, with a clear understanding of best practices.
* Proven technical expertise and overall general insurance knowledge.
* Ability to create a positive work environment and inspire colleagues and team members.
