HCA Education and Development Team Leader
This post is a secondment for 18 months to meet the needs of the service.

An exciting 18-month secondment opportunity has arisen for an innovative, motivated, and dynamic individual, with strong leadership qualities, to fulfil the position of Healthcare Assistants Education Team Leader for Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.
The successful applicant will manage a team of education practitioners who provide education and development opportunities for the HCA workforce working across the Health Board.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will be actively involved in the planning and delivery of education. Significant experience of nursing in areas relevant to this post, plus experience in delivering education to a variety of nursing staff and healthcare professionals would be advantageous to the position advertised.
The successful candidate will be a visible role model, able to demonstrate resilience, flexibility, and have exceptional organisation and communication skills.
The post advertised is 37.5 hours per week, which will need to be worked Monday to Friday to meet the needs of the service.
The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.

* Current NMC/HCPC/GDC Registration
* Postgraduate degree in a relevant subject
* Management qualification or equivalent experience
* Evidence of MSc level study
Desirable Criteria
* MSc or willingness to undertake

* Experience of managing at a senior level within the NHS including all aspects of successfully managing a team/service/budget management
* Experience of successful change/quality improvement and using measurable outcomes to inform service development
