What you’ll be working on
This role plays a key part in being able to work to tight deadlines, ensuring the Finance Department continues to deliver an excellent service to the business.
Your day-to-day
1. Administration of the Purchase Ledger including processing invoices, payment of suppliers, and resolution of queries.
2. Conduct extensive investigational supplier account reconciliations, investigating variances and applying corrections.
3. Monitoring and following up on any discrepancies & queries.
4. Work efficiently through data records to reconcile the financial records to contracts.
You should apply if you
1. have excellent Microsoft Office skills including Excel & Word.
2. are educated to GCSE standard (or equivalent) with grades A to C (or equivalent) in Maths & English.
3. have good analytical skills and excellent attention to detail.
4. are highly organised and able to work under pressure to strict deadlines.
5. have experience in a similar office setting.
Even better if you
1. have previous purchase ledger experience.
2. have experience of complex reconciliations and calculations.
3. are studying towards AAT.
