Job summary
The role of the Senior Programme Manager will be to support phase two of the delivery for the United Surrey Talent Strategy (UST). The UST was born from a clear recognition of the challenges facing Surrey's health and social care landscape. Skill shortages, recruitment difficulties, competition for the same workforce, delivering people interventions and patient services in silos and employee retention issues threatened the system's ability to deliver high-quality care.
The overall goal of the programme is to develop a united Surrey workforce across health, social care and VCSE that is enabled, mobile, and skilled to serve patients and service users throughout fulfilling careers. The UST takes a multi-pronged approach to achieving its goal through these six main objectives/targets.

Main duties of the job
To support the delivery of our United Surrey Talent Strategy within the People Team. Key duties include:

8. Lead as the PMO function (Performance Management Office) for the team
9. Building and maintaining stakeholder relationships across the system
10. Overseeing the financial monitoring for the Innovation Fund
11. Lead on comms and engagement for the United Surrey Talent strategy
12. Sharing best practice across the system
13. Manage the United Surrey Talent Alliance
