3. Experience of managing complex engineering projects.
4. Experience of Hazard Review studies.
5. Knowledge of relevant industry legislation such as BS EN 61511, PSSR and DSEAR.
6. Good problem-solving capability and the ability to function efficiently in a complex manufacturing environment with multiple stakeholders.
7. You will be able to demonstrate a successful track record of leading change.
8. Relevant degree or HNC
9. COMAH experience
10. Experience of using SAP
11. Experience in the development and delivery of long-term asset life-plans
12. Leading Hazard Review studies .
What You'll Be Doing:

13. Working within a team of process engineers, this role is an important role which helps to ensure ongoing optimised operation of the site.
14. You will work with other technical, operational and engineering disciplines to identify, engineer and deliver projects to improve the safety, operability and profitability of the site.
15. You will work closely with plant managers and operations teams to define project goals, milestones, and deliverables.
16. You will prepare cost estimates for projects and compile and submit capital expenditure requests.
17. You will provide process engineering expertise in the design stage of projects typically addressing issues such as, pressure relief dossier preparation, hazardous area classification, control system user requirement specification and safety systems definition to meet functional safety requirements.
18. You will own and manage the budget for your projects and provide periodic updates to enable reporting of performance to the site senior team.
19. You will attend safety review meetings for new projects and for existing operational plants and ensure that all risks of operation are managed to ALARP.
20. You will ensure compliance to our project delivery procedures.
21. You will adhere to all company policies and procedures in order to fulfil Croda’s responsibilities as a top tier COMAH site.
22. You will become the process expert for discreet areas of the site and provide engineering input into root cause analysis, debottlenecking and troubleshooting exercises.
