Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM
The Job
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive school in TW13. In this role, you will:
* Provide tailored support to students with SEN, ensuring they can access the curriculum and thrive academically.
* Assist teachers in delivering lessons and activities, ensuring they are adapted to meet the diverse needs of students.
* Support students with their personal and social development, promoting positive behaviors and attitudes towards learning.
* Work collaboratively with a strong, inclusive team, contributing to the overall success of the school.
* Help create and maintain a safe, nurturing environment where every student feels valued and able to succeed.
Could This Be Right for You? Are You...
* Experienced: Experience in a similar role is essential, ideally in a school environment working with children with complex needs, PMLD, SLD and/or challenging behaviour.
* Skilled: Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
* Personable: Caring, patient, and adaptable, with a commitment to supporting the individual needs of each student.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience in a similar role supporting children with a variety of needs, including ASD, ADHD, and physical disabilities.
* A knowledge of various SEN strategies and techniques to engage students.
* Willingness to undertake professional development and training.
