Service Engineer – Industrial Controls / PLC – Electrically Biased - West Yorkshire Based / Hybrid Working
£42-50k basic + Uplift + Overtime = OTE £55-70k + 25 days holiday + training + access to company vehicle for site work
Samuel Frank is recruiting for a Service Engineer with a background in Electrical engineering who has PLC fault-finding experience, to join a rapidly growing business that’s based in West Yorkshire.
The company is big on training and development and because they’re small, the role will be diverse and offer the successful Service Engineer a role with a wide variety of responsibilities and challenges.
Key aspects of the Service Engineer role include;
* Service and maintenance of control panels and automated production line equipment, mainly remote with some in-person support for machine breakdowns
* Previous PLC code interrogation experience (ideally with Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi or Siemens PLCs) and understand PLC logic – this isn’t a programming role though and you don’t need to be an expert.
* Interrogate a wide range of electrical equipment
* Most of the work can be delivered remotely so trips to site might only be once a week or once a fortnight – could suit if you’re not wanting to be on the road most of the time anymore.
