Job Duties:
The Year 4 Teaching Assistant will support students in Skelmersdale, working closely with the class teacher to deliver educational activities, provide individualised assistance, and maintain a positive learning environment.
Qualifications:
A relevant teaching assistant qualification or equivalent experience
Thorough understanding of the UK education system
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with a team
Prior experience working with primary school students
Education:
Minimum of a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
Experience:
At least 1 year of experience as a teaching assistant in a primary school setting.
Knowledge and Skills:
Familiarity with British curriculum standards for Year 4
Adaptable teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
Strong organisational skills
Effective classroom management abilities
Working Conditions:
This is a temporary full-time position based in Skelmersdale. The role may involve close interaction with students, adherence to school policies and procedures, and collaboration with teaching staff to support student learning.
