Responsibilities Hexagon's Asset Lifecycle Intelligence Division (Hexagon) is seeking to hire a Vice President, Sales as part of the leadership team for the EMIA Region. The selected candidate can reside anywhere in Europe and will lead a group of vertical market segments. Hexagon's ALI division empowers its clients to transform unstructured information into a smart digital asset to visualize, build, and manage structures and facilities of all complexities, ensuring safe and efficient operation throughout the entire life cycle. As the Vice President, within the EMIA Region, you will lead a team of sales professionals to deliver customer outcomes in a highly valued industry. As a member of the EMIA Leadership Team, you will implement best practices with your peers to drive business strategy that will help our customers in their solutions journey. Key Responsibilities include: Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the overall sales strategy in alignment with the company's business objectives. Provide vision and direction to the sales team, ensuring a clear path to success. Revenue Generation: Lead efforts to achieve and exceed revenue targets by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing client relationships, and driving sales pipelines. Team Management: Recruit, train, manage, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set performance expectations, provide ongoing coaching, and conduct performance evaluations. Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to adapt sales strategies and product offerings accordingly. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to ensure alignment and seamless execution of sales strategies. Client Relationships: Foster strong relationships with key clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to address their software requirements. Sales Forecasting and Reporting: Analyze sales data, track progress towards targets, and present regular reports to the executive team outlining sales performance, forecasts, and market insights. Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations for major software deals, ensuring terms are favorable for the company while building long-term client partnerships. Sales Process Optimization: Continuously assess and enhance the sales process, identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Budget Management: Develop and manage the software sales budget, including resource allocation, expenses, and investments. Performance Metrics: Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for the sales team, taking corrective action when necessary to ensure objectives are met. Education / Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Proven track record of success in software sales leadership roles, with experience in progressively responsible positions. Extensive experience with Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) systems is required. Deep understanding of the software industry, including SaaS (Software as a Service) and other software delivery models. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team. Excellent communication, negotiation, interpersonal skills, and team player Analytical mindset with the ability to use data-driven insights to make strategic decisions. Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies in a competitive market. Experience in budget management and financial acumen. Ability to travel as required for client meetings, industry events, and company activities.
