Your new role
Theduties for this position will include;
1. Generalpreparation of materials and assisting with lessons.
2. Maintainingan inventory and management of materials.
3. Supportteaching and learning in the classroom, including working with small groups ofstudents.
4. Carryout daily tasks as directed by teachers.
5. Ensureall tools and equipment are stored securely.
6. Basicmaintenance and setting up of workshop tools and machinery.
7. Useof heat treatment facilities – brazing, welding and casting.
What you'll need to succeed
8. Designand technology experience (Desirable)
9. Heavymachinery experience (Essential).
10. Goodunderstanding of Health and Safety.
11. Carpentryskills (Desirable)
12. Beable to monitor the stock.
13. Haveexcellentmunication skills.
14. Experienceworking with different woods and metals.
Thisrole will require an Enhanced DBS and the ideal person would be able to startimmediately.
