We have an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to join our Healthcare team at HMP Eastwood Park, a Female Remand Prison located in Falfield, Gloucester. The prison houses around 360 patients - This will all be patients that are waiting to be sentenced. Based in a rural location so own transport is essential.
Working Hours
Monday - Sunday: 7am - 20.30pm
Salary
This role is paying up to £47,250 depending on experience.

What you'll be doing
As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will vary. You will:
* Provide outstanding evidence-based care to our patients, seeking out, listening to, and acting on their feedback so that care is personalised and informed by what matters to them - focusing on emergency and unplanned care to patients with both primary care and acute care needs.
* Deliver non-judgemental care, building therapeutic relationships and promoting professional boundaries.
* Play an active part in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient's care following our policies, procedures, and always considering safeguarding.

* Qualified Paramedic
* Current professional registration (HCPC)
* Proven post-registration ambulance experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* A non-judgemental and compassionate approach
* Proven experience in either: Accident & Emergency, Primary Care environments or Minor injuries/illness
Although not essential, ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community, or prison environment.
