ABOUT THE ROLE Our IT team is growing and we have an exciting new role for a Head of IT Transformation to join our organisation to lead on and deliver our IT and data strategy You will drive the transformation of our IT infrastructure, systems, and processes to support the delivery of Social Interest Group's (SIG) strategic objectives This role will oversee the effective utilisation of data and analytics to support informed decision-making and business insights, focusing on ensuring our systems are working efficiently and collecting accurate data from different sources, and that these findings are readable for different audiences. You will oversee the organisation’s technological evolution to modernise the IT landscape and safely embed AI and automations; enhancing agility, scalability, and resilience to optimise impact and value for money. The role will be the organisational lead on cyber-security; monitoring and evaluating our processes and policies to ensure they align with industry best practice and relevant accreditations. They will also commission and contract manage support services delivered by specialist third parties. Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 09:00 - 17:00 This role will require a minimum of two days a week in our central office which is based within a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station, regular travel to our services around London, Brighton, Luton, Bedford, Kent, Liverpool, and Nottingham (and any additional locations) will be required, as well as attendance at external forums and events. Proven track record of successful leadership and execution of IT transformation initiatives, ideally in complex organisational environments Demonstrable experience in collating, reporting, and data analysis. Ability to share information with various decision makers and leadership teams IT Proficiency at advanced level, ability to navigate and learn new software’s with ease and able to communicate change A good understanding of IT infrastructure, systems, and emerging technologies, along with the ability to evaluate, develop and execute comprehensive IT transformation strategies aligned with organisational growth goals and industry best standards Knowledge and usability of Customer Relationship Management (CRM) and other IT infrastructure systems Familiarity with business intelligence tools and techniques to leverage data analytics and generate actionable insights that inform strategic decision making Ability to lead by example, and demonstrate leadership skills which inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, foster collaboration, and drive organisational change Ability to demonstrate a good level of contract management, contract negotiation and strategic partnership development Ability to navigate and lead organisational change, managing resistance and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement What would we like, but not essential?
