About the role: The successful candidate will support young people offering direct and indirect interventions and advice to assist with the transition, retention and success of students with EHCPs within college. The role will include family/advocate liaison and preparing, chairing and reporting on Annual EHCP Reviews. Working collaboratively with lecturers, support staff and external parties, you will ensure that we provide the best possible service to our students, whilst fulfilling our policy, statutory and contractual obligations. To apply for the position you must have previous experience of working with students with Special Educational needs, and you will have GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade A-C or equivalent). Attention to detail, the ability to follow procedure and problem solve with minimal supervision alongside excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential. The successful candidate will report to the EHCP Manager. Agile working This is a hybrid role where home working is accommodated, but a flexible approach would be expected to suit the business needs where required.
