Job Title: Creative Artworker Level & Responsibility: This role is at a Senior Executive level or equivalent and has the responsibility of delivering artwork across the entire media estate of one of the UK’s most famous retail brands. Salary: £33k per annum, depending on experience plus a 10% bonus scheme Location & Hybrid Working: Manchester, 1/2 days a week in the office The role Due to an increase in assignments, we’re looking for someone to join our growing artwork team in Manchester. 95% of your time will be spent delivering artwork across the entire media estate of one of the UK’s most famous retail brands – Co-op. Plus, occasionally you will help deliver artwork for the central SMG agency team and brands. The Co-op. It’s a fast-paced role and you’ll need to be able to get through lots of artwork to a high-quality finish. Working within their Masterbrand templates, you’ll produce print-ready artwork, across many different media channels, from eCommerce banners to shelf barkers - and everything in between. This is a new role that offers someone the opportunity, to join an established team of artists and play a part in helping our Co-op partnership continue to grow and evolve. In line with our company values, within your role you'll want to stay honest, stay hungry, stay foolish, and most importantly, have fun More specifically, you'll have / be: You have 2-3 years of experience as an Artworker in a fast-paced agency or similar environment. You follow processes from briefing to print delivery. You have a portfolio of print and animated artwork for brands. You work within brand guidelines and templates. You can manage time effectively to meet deadlines. You're an independent yet collaborative team player. You're skilled in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator); experience in After Effects. You create artwork for digital, print, and in-store touchpoints. You have strong organisational, design, and layout skills with attention to detail. What you'll be doing We pride ourselves on creating challenging and exciting opportunities, meaning that no two days are the same. However, here's an idea of what your responsibilities will look like: Taking artwork briefs and be responsible for managing the timing and progress of those projects. Ensure a high quality of artwork output, even when under the pressure of tight deadlines. Helping other members of the team during busy periods. Be a brand guardian for Co-op, ensuring design guidelines are always adhered to. Producing print-ready artwork and then uploading them onto printer’s servers - complete with work codes. Produce broadcast-ready animated artworks to spec for use across digital and online media. Be prepared for eleventh-hour client changes or creative fine-tuning requests. Working with account teams to deliver the work they need, to a high standard and on time. Keeping our work platform (Trello) up to date and filing to a high standard.
