Compliance Team Leader
Bank Partners (Part of the Acacium Group)
Newcastle-Under-Lyme, ST5 9QD
Monday to Friday- 37.5 hours per week
We are now looking for a Compliance Team Leader to join us and provide ongoing support and mentorship to the wider team. As a team leader in the compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth and efficient welcome for all new candidates joining Bank Partners. Your primary focus will be to proactively maintain the highest standards of compliance to support audit passes, manage restrictions for lapsed compliance workers, and drive the team's performance and productivity. You will work closely with the Talent Acquisition Team, taking a proactive approach to ensure candidates are successfully placed and ready to start working in a timely manner.

* Supervise and lead the Compliance Team whilst inspiring and motivating team members to achieve great things, providing guidance, training, and support to team members and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
* Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, setting performance goals and targets, and providing regular feedback and coaching to team members using dashboards and data to report on activity.
* Support and resolve any escalated issues related to the team and update the Onboarding & Compliance Manager accordingly, keeping stakeholders informed of any potential issues or problem areas to ensure minimum disruption to the business.
* Identify continuous improvement opportunities, actively seeking out ways to improve efficiency, enhance customer experience, and implement best practices within the team.
* Drive productivity and performance across the team in line with SLA’s regarding all things compliance related for bank partners staff.

To thrive in this role, you must ideally have…
* Proven experience in recruitment, compliance, or a related field.
* Experience leading a team and using a data-driven mindset and analytics to drive decision-making and improve team performance with regular coaching and 1:1's.
* A positive can-do attitude, high attention to detail, and a well-organised approach with multitasking skills to enable working under pressure.
* Excellent communication skills with a proactive and customer-oriented mindset, focusing on delivering exceptional service and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Strong IT skills and experience of working with Excel, Outlook & PowerPoint and prior experience using candidate management systems.
