We are recruiting for a part time Catering Assistant to join our friendly catering team at the Hospice in Brentry. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment for a much-loved local Charity dedicated to making a difference in the lives of thousands of patients, their families and carers when it matters most, you will help to prepare, cook and serve food and beverages to patients. The details 16 hours per week 14:30 - 18:30 Mondays, Thursdays, and every other weekend 9:00 - 13:00 Fridays Permanent position What you will do Be a vital part of the catering operation and ensure our busy kitchens run smoothly Assist with the preparation, cooking and serving of food and beverages. Keep the kitchen and dining areas clean and tidy Clean equipment ovens fryers etc What you will bring: A can-do attitude and flexible approach to working Excellent attention to detail, plus good communication skills Previous experience (at least 6 months) in a similar role Able to work independently and as a team member General knowledge of health and safety procedures Basic Food Hygiene Qualification Knowledge of allergy requirements We know sometimes the 'perfect candidate' doesn't exist, and that people can be put off applying for job if they don't tick every box.
