Job overview
The Division of Diagnostics and Clinical Support Services is recruiting for Health care Support Workers for Elmhurst Intermediate Care Centre.
This is an exciting time for Bed Based services, as working alongside Wards 21b and 27 we will be working to create a seamless transition from the Acute Trust to Primary care.
Main duties of the job
An opportunity has arisen for Band 2 HCA to join an exceptional team of multidisciplinary staff who will work together under the direction of the Ward Manager.
The team will focus on facilitating the safe and timely admission, rehabilitation and discharge of this transitioning group of patients. Catering for a diverse age range, patients will be transferred from Leighton Hospital, or step up from the community and are admitted to Elmhurst to undergo a period of therapeutic rehabilitation to restore physical functionality following acute injury, illness or planned intervention.
