Job Description
The Systems Engineering team carries out Systems Engineering activities covering the full lifecycle for Submarine, Surface Ships and Airborne Sonar and Command and Control systems.
A vacancy has arisen for Systems Engineers, primarily to work within the Submarine Sonar domain, on both domestic and export programmes. Due to the ongoing work we are now looking for Systems Engineers either on a Fulltime or Part-time (24 hrs per week) to join us here in Cheadle/Stockport

Experience and Skills
Essential
* Demonstrable relevant systems engineering design & development experience preferably but not essential in the defence industry
* Strong analytical abilities with a methodical approach
Desirable
* DOORS practitioner
* Working knowledge of architecture frameworks
* System modelling skills (with either Rhapsody, Enterprise Architect or similar tool)
* Familiarity with SCRUM methodology
* Knowledge of maritime domain operations and/or products (preferably Submarines)
* MatLab, or equivalent, experience.
* Understanding of signal processing and network design.
