An exciting opportunity has arisen for 3 full time Band 6 Senior Children's Wellbeing Practitioner's (CWP) to join the Think Together Team with the CAMHS Single Point of Access Team.
*The team is locality based across North Yorkshire, York and Selby and although advertised as Northallerton, the base could be York.*

Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the Think Together Team within the CAMHS Single Point of Access Team. They will need to offer triage assessments, both clinical and caseload supervision, alongside delivering interventions at a high-quality; brief outcome focused evidence-based interventions for children and young people experiencing mild to moderate mental health difficulties. The post will also include visiting our partner agencies to deliver support and training, and offer consultation.
The Think Together team works across the locality of North Yorkshire, York and Selby and there is an expectation of travel across the locality in order to deliver the training, support and consultation. There may also be a requirement to work adjusted hours between 8am and finish at 8pm in relation to the patient experience co-creation group.
Working as a part of a multi-disciplinary team and liaising closely with other agencies you will assess, plan and implement care for children with mental health needs.

Person Specification
Qualifications/experience
* Successfully completed British Psychological Society (BPS) Accredited or Higher Education England (HEE) Approved academic course of study in line with the CYP IAPT Low Intensity National Programme and will be qualified as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP).
* Professional registration as a Children's Wellbeing Practitioner (CWP) with an appropriate regulatory body (e.g. British Psychological Society (BPS) or British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP))
* Completed, or currently be undertaking the CWP/EMHP supervisor (PG Certificate or CPD) or Senior Wellbeing Practitioner G/PG Diploma training programme, provided by one of the nationally commissioned training providers, which provides eligibility to supervise Trainee CWPs and qualified CWPs in line with their registration requirements
* Substantial evidence of Continuing Professional Development as a CWP
Experience
* Experience of delivering low intensity interventions
* Experience of working with children
Knowledge
* Understanding of CAMHS system and processes
* Significant post-qualification experience working with young people who are experiencing emotional distress impacting on their mental health.
* Experience of delivering low intensity CBT interventions with children and young people.
* Providing clinical and caseload management supervision.
* Research and development methodology
Skills
* Working as part of MDT
* Provide effective clinical supervision
