We are among the market leaders in the production of custom brake kits and all the parts for the braking system for all manner of cars (Road Cars, Classic Cars, Race Cars, and Kit Cars) from one-off specials to low volume production.
We are looking for a candidate who has a proven track record in Client Service and Relations Management and Administration who can shape the role to be their own.
This is a small, specialised industry with not many companies like us, so full technical support will be provided as part of the induction programme. It is expected that the successful candidate will be a fast learner to pick up the technical detail with a view to eventually providing an end-to-end client experience including the technical know-how about all aspects of our products.
We are looking for someone with a keen interest in automotive engineering, as this would be beneficial.
Extensive on-the-job training will be provided as the successful candidate will be shadowing one of our experienced team members.

Good rates of pay are available and we are willing to be flexible and negotiable for the right candidate.
Your initial duties would be to advise and sell customers the correct brake components for their vehicles.
Primarily responsible for overall client satisfaction and continuing to provide high-quality client service.
Please note that this is not a cold calling position; you would be advising and selling to regular retail and trade customers.
We seek a candidate who can demonstrate accuracy and efficiency with excellent communication and organisational skills.
About the role
Your duties may include but are not limited to:
* Managing the main client interactions, including welcoming customers and guests.
* Answering inbound client calls and monitoring the Hi-Spec inbox for client new orders and enquiries.
* Maintaining and updating our in-house client system with the new job details.
* Keeping track of client orders and deadlines.
* Maintaining the client details database.
* Daily review of proformas and order tracker, actively managing this pipeline and chasing up via email where appropriate, escalating to telephone chasers if necessary.
* Liaising with the Admin team to ensure client order accuracy.
* Liaising with the Finance team to resolve billing issues.
* Ensuring all client job files are accurate.
* Onboarding new clients and developing working relationships with current clients.
* Generating sales or service reports for senior management.
* Offering advice to clients on products and escalating more complex queries to the technical and design departments, learning from them for future queries.
* Drafting, formatting, and printing relevant documents.
Skills and qualifications:
* Excellent client service skills and possess an excellent telephone manner.
* Be patient, empathetic, and understand the value of good communication skills.
* Ability to put themselves in their client’s shoes and advocate for them when necessary.
* Good problem-solving skills and a can-do attitude. Ability to provide basic technical expertise.
* Confidence in troubleshooting and investigating with the technical and design department if they don’t have enough information to answer client questions or resolve complaints.
* Ability to gather client feedback.
* Prior office administration experience preferred.
* Strong attention to detail.
* Ability to work without supervision.
* Excellent time management skills.
* Exceptional communication, telephone, and customer service skills.
* Strong record-keeping skills.
* Ability to multitask.
* High level of integrity.
* Keen and willing to learn technical expertise.
* An overview of the technical and mechanical aspects of a car’s running gear is ideal but not essential.
