Since 1991, Kelton has provided independent flow measurement consultancy services for some of the largest names in the energy industry to ensure their full flow measurement compliance with industry regulations. Drawing upon our vast experience, Kelton has also developed a suite of industry-standard flow measurement software solutions to support the design, operation, and management of flow measurement systems.
The Role
Kelton is looking for a dynamic Sales Engineer to join Kelton's Sales Team. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for the effective selling and presentation of Kelton’s Consultancy Services, Digital Products, and Training Courses to potential clients, whilst supporting the wider Sales team.
Main Duties
* Effective selling of the Company’s products and services.
* Preparation and sales review of quotations.
* Following up quotations through to order or declined status.
* Support the management and maintenance of the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
* Involvement in the development of Company marketing material.
* Input to the 3 month Sales Plan and 3 month forecast
* Providing updates of sales status to the Sales Manager
* Producing sales reports for visits and telephone calls. (Minimum 3 visits per week)
* Maintaining the company CRM System.
* Maintaining Proposals Planner
* Attendance and input at Product/Training development progress meetings.
* Setting and achieving realistic sales targets
* Support the Operations Director andSales Manager at presentations, visits, exhibitions or training courses.
Who We Are Looking For
Educational Background:
* Technical Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Process/Mechanical Engineering
Skills and Competencies:
* Customer-focused with a solution-driven approach.
* A self-motivated team player who can work on their own initiative, while interfacing with Clients, Management, Operations, Accounts, and Digital teams.
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multi-task effectively.
* Excellent communication skills with an eye for technical and commercial detail.
* Computer literate (MS Office, SharePoint, CRM).
Specialist Knowledge:
* Familiarity with process equipment and instrumentation such as flow meters, transmitters, analysers, and sampling systems.
* Experience with flow measurement systems, fluid analysers, or control systems would be highly advantageous.
Relevant Experience:
* 2+ years in a Sales role, ideally within an engineering field.
