Our client, an established presence in the Huntingdon area, is now recruiting for someone to join them on a full or part-time basis in a varied Accounts Assistant position.
Working in a close-knit team, the role will be varied and duties will include:
* Processing purchase invoices, from coding, approval to payment runs
* Processing employee expenses for payment
* Supplier statement reconciliations
* VAT returns
* Bank reconciliations
* Raising sales invoices
* Maintaining fixed asset register
* Assisting with preparation of payroll
* Credit control
* Ad hoc duties at month end
This role will suit someone who has proven experience working in accounts and is looking for a role which provides exposure to all areas of accounts.
Experience of finance systems is important and a strong understanding of Excel is essential due to its daily use.
