Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative multi-disciplinary team, working with clients who have moderate to severe Eating Disorder. The Community Eating Disorder Service (CEDS) is a multi-professional team comprising of a Physician, Psychiatrist, Senior Mental Health Practitioners, Nurses, Psychologists, Dietitians and Assistant Practitioners. Each patient has a named clinician who supports them with their psychological health and wellbeing. The team provide holistic and recovery focused care. Main duties of the job The post holder will play a key role in managing a specialist caseload of patients with complex nutritional and psychiatric needs, using evidence based and person centered principles to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nutrition treatment plans. The post holder will have the opportunity to have training and supervision in relation to both the psychiatric and physical & nutritional health components of eating disorders and wider mental health difficulties, alongside support to help develop the necessary skills needed to manage the complex nutritional needs of this patient population. The post holder will also contribute to the management of resources within the clinical and professional area, staff training and service development.
