This role is crucial in achieving cost savings while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and experience Key Responsibilities Act as a vital link between procurement, clinical teams, internal stakeholders, and suppliers Identify and deliver significant savings opportunities without compromising patient care. Drive standardisation and rationalisation of products, ensuring best practice across the Trust for the surgical directorate Manage the introduction of new products and deliver innovative procurement solutions. Challenge current practices, influencing clinicians, senior managers, and operational staff to embrace change and achieve value for money About You We're looking for someone with strong communication and negotiation skills, who can confidently engage with clinical teams and suppliers. You should have experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related healthcare role, with the ability to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality care. Why Join Us? Main duties of the job Liaising with colleagues at all levels, develop and maintain an interface between procurement and clinical functions throughout the Trust. Identification and delivery of significant savings opportunities to address non-pay expenditure without sacrificing the quality of patient care. The post holder will serve as a link with procurement, clinical areas, internal stakeholders and suppliers to drive standardisation and rationalisation, manage new products and deliver innovation within the Trust. Challenging normal practice, promote the delivery of innovative change, influencing clinicians, senior managers and operational staff to embrace change, embed best practice and achieve value for money.
