Hours: Full Time – Permanent, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm

Overview:
Compass Associates is proud to be working with a leading provider of specialist education and behavioural health services, seeking a Senior Speech and Language Therapist. This role is based across two specialist schools, renowned for their exceptional support for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, learning disabilities, and other complex needs.
In this role, you will provide advanced clinical services and lead the development of Speech and Language Therapy services. Your expertise will support a diverse caseload, manage a MDT, and ensure high-quality outcomes for students. You will report directly to the Clinical Lead and play a crucial role in shaping and delivering effective therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide advanced clinical services using evidence-based Speech and Language Therapy methods, setting SMART targets, and evaluating interventions.
2. Plan and deliver training for staff.
3. Lead the development, planning, and evaluation of the Speech and Language Therapy service, including conducting clinical audits and contributing to clinical governance.
4. Supervise and mentor other Speech and Language Therapists and assistants, supporting their professional growth.
5. Independently manage a complex caseload, including addressing needs at various levels (Universal, Targeted, and Specialist).
Minimum Requirements:
1. Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with a Diploma/Degree in Speech and Language Therapy.
2. Current UK HCPC registration.
3. Minimum of 4 years post-graduate experience ideally working with children or young people.
4. Strong organisational and leadership skills, with a proven ability to manage a complex caseload and deliver high-quality therapy services.
