What you’ll do
We're recruiting for a PMO & Demand Manager to join our Finance Transformation team at Vodafone UK.
The Finance Transformation Team is responsible for the management and delivery of significant programmes of change. The PMO and Demand Manager is a critical role, providing the governance and infrastructure to ensure that we operate in a consistent, repeatable, and standardised way. It will ensure adherence to reporting and financial calendars, maintain the validity of information, and track the status of Projects and Programmes to meet time, cost, and quality targets.
Key responsibilities will also include:
1. Accountable for the end-to-end Finance Demand Management process; working with all areas of Finance to understand impacts (via impact assessment process), and ensure the appropriate resources are assigned.
2. Accountable for the Finance Capacity Management process; identifying, tracking, and supporting resolution of capacity or prioritisation issues, enabling effective planning and decision making.
3. Ownership of Finance Transformation communications plan.
4. Manage the relationship into the UK Strategy Execution Team (SET), ensuring alignment across UK business change and functional delivery, providing all relevant reporting.
5. Manage the governance the Finance Capex budget and associated financial processes.
6. Identify and drive forward opportunity for PMO & Demand process improvements.
Who you are
7. Proven background in the Demand Management process, ideally within Finance.
8. Practical experience of lean tools and approaches to drive process optimisation and continuous improvement (, Prince2, APMP, Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, Design Thinking, SAFe Practitioner, Scrum Master, AgilePM, Kanban or equivalent).
9. Professional accountancy qualification (CIMA/ACA/ACCA) would be beneficial.
