Start Date: Monday 1 September 2025 Hours: Full-Time About the Role: The role of Graduate Strategic Analyst will report directly to the Associate Director of Strategy and will enable the individual to: develop an excellent understanding of the Raytheon business as a whole; gain important insights into the internal and external drivers impacting the business both now and in the future; help to shape the future trajectory of the business through our Functional, Mission Area and Corporate level strategies; build important analytical and strategic thinking and consulting skills; and work with the RUK Leadership Team (LT). This could lead to roles within business development and bidding, as well as being of value in providing an excellent strategic grounding for any role within the organisation. Main Duties: On a day-to-day basis a Graduate Strategic Analyst may be expected to: - Conduct industry, market, customer, technology and geopolitical horizon scanning and research to understand trends and dynamics to identify opportunities and potential risks. - Leverage market/customer research, trends, and competitor analysis, and undertake analysis/modelling of Raytheon's current and future portfolio to analyse complex problems and deliver insightful and practical insights and solutions to inform strategies within Raytheon. - Collaborate with finance and competitive intelligence teams to gather and analyse data and generate insights. - Work closely with staff to secure the required data to inform this analysis and modelling. - Provide insight into Raytheon's corporate Mission Area and Functional strategies by identifying critical questions and performing ad-hoc analysis. - Identify key performance indicators to ensure benefits are being tracked and measured. - Develop dashboards to provide the LT with insights regarding progress in implementing and delivering our strategies. - Summarise insights from analysis and clearly communicate findings in a cohesive story. - Support the Assoc Director of Strategy in the design, planning and execution of quarterly strategy reviews and the annual Strategy Summit.
