Job Role At MIB our people are passionate about making roads safer by getting uninsured and hit-and-run drivers off our roads. Working in partnership with the Police, Insurers and Government our collective aim is to make it a thing of the past but, until that’s accomplished, we’re here to compensate victims quickly, fairly and compassionately. Last year we helped more than 42,000 people struck by uninsured and hit-and-run drivers and paid over £400 million in compensation to support victims rebuild their lives. Our Admin support Assistants provide administrative support to the claims teams, including managing all correspondence and queries whilst working with stakeholders in a helpful, proactive and professional manner. Key Outputs You'll be responsible for managing various mailboxes ensuring queries are dealt with accurately and efficiently. Where necessary you'll investigate unreferenced post items and ensure these are maintained on a daily basis. On a daily basis you'll process high volumes of emails via a secure doc procedure onto the Claims system. You'll process manual claims from vulnerable customers who are unable to submit claims electronically You'll take telephone queries and be able to answer queries accurately and pass to relevant departments. You'll work in conjunction with company policies and procedures, in line with relevant SLAs You'll be responsible for ensuring all Data Protection requirements are complied with You'll build and maintain effective working relationships with colleagues and contacts As part of a team you'll contribute in creating and maintaining a high performing culture Relationships Qualifications and Education Skills and Knowledge Ability to plan and prioritise own workload, in line with changing requirements Experience of working in a customer focused role Ability to use own initiative and work within defined procedures Ability to collect and analyse relevant information to support effective decision making Attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy Computer literate, including experience of using MS Office Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to adapt to changing requirements For more information, take a look at our role pack here: ROLE PACK We believe in a workplace where everyone can be themselves.
