The role of the Bank Health Care Assistant is varied, challenging, and rewarding. It requires a positive outlook and an ability to develop and maintain a meaningful therapeutic relationship with the service users. Shifts are available Trust wide, which include Halifax, Dewsbury, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Barnsley therefore the ability to commute within the Trusts geographical area with access to the appropriate means of transport is essential. Criteria for being registered on the Trust Bank is that you can commit to a minimum of 4 shifts in a 6 month period and all mandatory training is kept up to date. Main duties of the job Work under the supervision/direction of registered health care professionals/associate practitioner, within a delegated framework for agreed tasks, be aware of and able to address the basic, routine psychological and physical needs of a defined group of people.
