Join our People Services team and help us make Lyons Davidson a great place to work. About the role This is an exciting opportunity to join our friendly and professional People Services team. Reporting into the Head of People & Culture, you’ll be responsible for managing and delivering ER services to support incoming, current, exiting, and former employees, line managers and senior leaders along with line manager responsibilities for an ER Advisor. Key responsibilities Responsible for delivery of the ER Service, both through own activities and the management of the ER team including taking the lead in conducting investigations/hearings and managing/ co-ordinating any restructures/redundancies/consultations/TUPE activities. Support line managers with specific/technical HR queries with the aim of delivering a people-centred employee relations culture which is resolution-focused and improve business outcomes. Continually support and upskill managers to competently and confidently manage people issues/concerns in their groups and divisions. Support managers to maintain good quality and compliant records of any informal/formal people processes, decisions made and the outcomes of those processes, for their groups and divisions. Determine and communicate employee relations policies, standards and compliance expectations. Take ownership for relevant HRIS (IRIS) processes to ensure data integrity, accurate reporting, and reliable information about HR casework. Evaluate internal data, metrics, and trends in HR casework to continually improve the employee experience and provide ER MI and reports to managers. Develop and facilitate workshops/training and updates for managers and relevant colleagues. Manage the Occupational Health provision. Essential experience and skills Strong Employee Relations experience working in an HR team at Advisor level or above Managerial experience desirable Strong communicator Must be experienced in working at senior levels within a business Must be resourceful and proactive Microsoft Office and related tools The Company Lyons Davidson is a national law firm providing legal services to businesses and individuals.
