Personal Injury Grade A Litigator
Location: Slough (with occasional travel to other offices)
A reputable legal firm is seeking a dedicated Personal Injury Grade A Litigator to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to deliver exceptional service to private clients and contribute to the firm's growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage own casework for claimants in moderate to high-value Personal Injury matters, ensuring adherence to procedural and funding guidelines.
* Provide support to partners and senior solicitors on more complex cases.
* Develop a strong understanding of medical issues relevant to Personal Injury claims, applying legal knowledge effectively for clients' benefit.
* Oversee financial management of files, including work in progress, disbursements, and billing, aiming to meet or exceed set targets.
* Ensure compliance with external regulatory bodies and maintain high-quality work and financial performance.
* Mentor junior fee earners, fostering a collaborative team environment.
* Undertake additional relevant tasks as assigned by management.
Essential Qualifications:
* Valid Practicing Certificate with no restrictions on the ability to practice.
* Proven experience in high-quality claimant Personal Injury matters, particularly in Employer's Liability (EL) and Public Liability (PL).
* Strong litigation experience with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to exercise initiative and demonstrate effective problem-solving capabilities.
* Empathetic approach to clients, maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
* Professional demeanor with a commitment to client care and service quality.
* Detail-oriented, with strong time management skills to meet deadlines.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and Solicitors Case Management Systems (Partner for Windows preferred).
Preferred Experience:
* Previous involvement with Trade Union work.
* Familiarity with Digital Dictation software (BigHand); training will be provided.
Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
