EICA Design Engineer - Utilities/Civil Engineering - Cookstown (Hybrid) - Up to £50,000 Salary
As part of the Design Team, the EICA Design Engineer will be responsible for designing and developing Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, and Automation systems for water and wastewater treatment projects.
The hours of work for this role are 40 hours per week Monday to Friday, in addition, this role is a hybrid role which requires 2/3 Days in the office.
This role involves working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that all EICA elements are integrated into the overall project designs, meet industry standards, and function safely and efficiently.
Roles and responsibilities
- Design and develop electrical, instrumentation, control, and automation systems for water and wastewater treatment projects, ensuring designs meet technical and regulatory standards.
- Create and maintain electrical designs, including Single Line Diagrams, Component Based Developments, Load Schedules, Systems Architecture, Cable Calculations, I/O schedules, and Electrical Install.
- Support the development of control strategies for water treatment processes, ensuring proper instrumentation and control system functionality.
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and process engineers to ensure EICA systems are fully integrated into the overall project design.
