Supply opportunities can be beneficial for recently qualified teachers (ECTs) as they could potentially lead to more long-term and permanent roles in some of our schools.
Art Teachers who apply for our supply opportunities must:
Hold the relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, B. Ed or BA Hons) with UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS/QTLS).
Have strong classroom management and you can easily build good rapport with students.
Deliver exciting and engaging Art lessons using your own initiative and have good knowledge of the national curriculum.
Have evidence through referencing of working with students in both Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
Hold a current Enhanced DBS that is registered with the Update Service, or to be prepared to apply for a new Enhanced DBS through ourselves (cost applied).Please be aware that your daily rate will be dependent upon experience, prior qualifications, the supply requirement (short or long term) and the client rate that is currently available.
