We have an exciting opportunity for a Buying Admin Assistant to join the Lucy & Yak Team on a 12 month fixed term contract!
The Buying Admin Assistant will assist the Buyer and wider Buying Team in the smooth running of the department. They will have exceptional organisational skills with a passion for working in fashion
What you'll be doing...
* Sample management of gold seal approvals
* Management of all product samples
* Support Assistant Buyer to organise samples sales
* Ordering and tracking photo shoot samples
* Ensuring the Critical Path is updated regularly with any amendments to approval dates
* Sending comments to suppliers and store bulk fabrics
* Competitor shopping - carrying out regular competitor analysis and keeping on top of current trends
* Data entry in Shopify / PEX
* Support Buying team to ensure bulk P.O’s are sent on time.

* Creating SKU’s within in the Critical Path and adding Purchase Order numbers
* Checking website listings before launch
* Barcode approvals
* Filing approved fabrics
What you need...
* Positive, enthusiastic and a team player with an open-minded approach
* Strong communication skills
* Highly organised with attention to detail when performing tasks
* Ability to anticipate and manage problems as well as prioritise and escalate where necessary
* Creative and able to come with ideas and solutions
* Passion for sustainability
* Previous experience in a BAA role would be a bonus!

* Salary £23,000 per annum
* Based in our Brighton Office
* 12-Month Fixed Term Contract - Start Date 2nd January 2025.
