CLIENT EXPERIENCE MANAGER
OVERVIEW
Outpost Overseas is a Scottish-based Golf Tour Operator, providing exceptional experiences for our clients.
We are looking for an experienced, dedicated, and driven individual to join our team as a Client Experience Manager.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Trip Planning and Operational Co-ordination:
* Develop itineraries for client trips.
* Work closely with the Operations team to ensure that all elements of the itineraries are delivered.
* Full P&L accountability for trips which you are managing.
Client Relations:
* Present, develop, and agree itineraries with clients.
* Conduct pre-trip briefings with clients – either via email or video meeting.
* Co-ordinate pre-trip requirements between clients and the Operations team.
* Meet with clients during their trips and regularly communicate with them to ensure their trip is going smoothly.
* Manage all client payments.
Other Responsibilities:
* Research and write website and bespoke itinerary content.
* Develop and maintain strong relationships with partners – golf clubs, accommodation, and transport providers.
* Line management for Operations Administrator staff member
QUALITIES WE’RE LOOKING FOR
* Strong knowledge of, and experience in, the golf industry.
* Exceptional organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with clients and partners.
* Proven proficiency in budgeting and P&L delivery.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
* Passion for travel and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by tour schedules.
EMPLOYMENT DETAILS
* Salary: £38,000 – £48,000 per annum, depending on experience, with a discretionary bonus for meeting targets.
* Benefits: 8% company pension contribution, 35 days holiday including public/bank holidays. You may choose to work on public holidays (except for Christmas Day, Boxing Day, and New Year's Day) and take a different day off.
* Working Hours: 35-hour work week, with some flexibility in when and how the hours are worked.
* Location: Hybrid. You will be expected to be in our Edinburgh office approximately 2 days a week. Flexibility will be needed to travel to other locations for client meet-and-greets and partner meetings.
