Delta Plus (UK) Ltd is the UK subsidiary of the Delta Plus Group. The Delta Plus Group designs, manufactures, and distributes a full range of Personal Protective Equipment to equip people from head to toe. We are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Warehouse Administrator/Operator to work at our site at Guide, Blackburn.
The successful applicant will be an excellent administrator ideally with previous experience of working within a warehouse environment although this is not essential.
Responsibilities and duties will include:
* The role is approx. 50% administration and 50% general warehouse duties
* Maintaining a system for stock location
* Generating paperwork as required and supporting the Warehouse Manager
* Accurately recording intakes and despatches
* Printing picking schedules, logging of stock on excel spreadsheets and the in-house system
* Liaising with the warehouse and other operational departments as appropriate
* Dealing directly with Customers / Transport Companies via phone & email
* Stock taking and ensuring stocks are accurately always labelled and accounted for
* Raising awareness of and controlling stock loss and stock adjustments
* Working directly with the sales office to process orders & also troubleshoot
* Maintaining and updating all relevant internal systems in line with customer and business requirements
* Managing the warehouse and team in the Manager's absence
* The role will require flexibility to help within the Warehouse when busy, this may involve some lifting
* Liaise and communicate with both the Sales Office and Buyer to ensure that targets and customer expectations are met or exceeded
Personal Profile:
You should have a LLOP/Forklift license and strong IT skills, particularly familiar with Excel. This role requires a motivated, organised, and reliable person with a flexible approach to work. Attention to detail is essential as is the ability to multi-task. The ability to work under pressure is also essential as is having a sense of humour. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must be physically fit. This is a full-time permanent role and the salary will be dependent upon previous experience.
