In short: We're looking for someone with an L&D mindset to capture the capabilities / competencies across our Cyber Security Target Operating Model. So, we'd like to hear from analysts who can map out and analyse capabilities and then assign them to each role on a work management system. You'll also be supporting our Early Careers function contributing to outreach and webinars. We online induct new starters every 6 weeks and we'd like you to have regular interaction with those teams. Finally, you'll be responsible for the population of our Sharepoint site being our day-to-day liaison.

The main requirement:
1. Creation, maintenance and management of a sustainable career structure and pipeline of talent for the function that encompasses early careers through to senior management, anticipating demand, balancing skills and anticipating the evolution of the security function's career stream.
Day-to-day responsibilities:
2. Liaise with Team Leaders and Security staff to identify essential skills and competencies for all our positions across the Security Organisation / Training Needs Analysis.
3. Lead with the implementation of SkillStation; a competency-based training management tool.
4. Act as an administrator for the Security Organisation Skill Station management tool.
5. Manage L&D partnerships to anticipate demand for the training and skills required to maintain a flexible workforce with opportunity of mobility across the whole security discipline.
6. Maintain the security central repository of job descriptions ensuring that they remain up to date and fit for purpose.
7. Assist with the development and delivery of programs and initiatives to attract, recruit, and retain career talent in the security field.
8. Support and contribute to the induction programme for all new joiners including briefing materials as required.
9. Assist with the construction of our new Security Sharepoint.
10. Assist with the Early Careers Recruitment Programme.
Nice-to-haves:
11. Mentoring and Development, or coaching skills.
12. Knowledge of Security frameworks e.g. the NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF).
Key capabilities:
13. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
14. Knowledge of relevant security skills and frameworks.
15. Knowledge of security training providers and professional bodies.
16. Automation; knowledge and initiative to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.
Essentials:
17. Proficient in M including Sharepoint and Forms.
18. Experience of populating and updating databases.
19. Excellent organisation skills.
20. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
