This role will be supporting our people managers across Mid and North Wales and travel will be required across these areas to attend meetings as required. The role can be based from one of our regional offices in Bangor, Llandrindod Wells and Brecon or can work in a hybrid manner between home and office locations. Some travel to our Cardiff office will also be required for working and collaboration with the wider people team. £34,000 per annum based on 37 hours. What you will be doing Providing Expert HR Support – You'll be the go-to person for People Managers, offering guidance on policies, procedures, and employment law while supporting complex employee relations cases, including disciplinaries, grievances, and consultations. Shaping HR Best Practice – You'll play a key role in ensuring compliance with employment legislation, reviewing and improving policies, and championing a collaborative approach to HR processes. Driving Positive Change – You'll support organisational change, culture initiatives, and attendance management, helping to create an engaged and high-performing workforce. What you will need Qualifications & Knowledge – A good standard of education, with CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (or working towards it). Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and up-to-date employment legislation. HR Expertise – Proven experience in delivering an efficient and effective HR service, with hands-on experience in disciplinary & grievance processes, sickness absence management, policy implementation, employee relations, recruitment, and onboarding. Technical Skills – Confident using HR systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.), with the ability to manage and analyse HR data effectively. Organisational & Problem-Solving Skills – Strong planning, time management, and attention to detail. A proactive, delivery-focused approach with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload. Interpersonal & Collaboration Skills – A people-focused approach with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. Confident in working collaboratively with colleagues, stakeholders, and external partners to drive positive outcomes.
