Job summary An exciting opportunity has become available for a Band 5 Staff Nurse working on Jim Quick, Transplant Unit at Wythenshawe Hospital. You will be required to work in partnership with a well established and highly effective multi-disciplinary team, caring for an extremely vulnerable and complex group of patients, with a range of cardiac needs within a tertiary cardiac centre. This job is suitable for candidates who have a full NMC pin. Main duties of the job This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse who would like a change or a junior nurse who would like to gain experience to join our team on Jim Quick, the heart and lung transplant unit for the north west. Caring for patients with unstable angina, heart and lung failure, and complex cardiac and respiratory problems requiring interventional procedures, additionally we also do heart and lung transplantation.
