Key Responsibilities:
* Sales Strategy & Execution:
* Develop and implement a strategic sales plan for wire and cable products, including electrical, data, and industrial solutions.
* Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and growth avenues for the product range.
* Achieve or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
* Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
* Customer Relationship Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners.
* Act as the main point of contact for high-value clients, ensuring their needs are met and providing solutions for any challenges.
* Provide expert advice and product recommendations to customers based on their specific requirements.
* Team Leadership & Development:
* Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives, setting clear goals and monitoring performance.
* Provide training, support, and guidance to ensure that team members stay informed about new product features, industry trends, and sales techniques.
* Conduct regular performance reviews and implement action plans to improve results.
* Product Knowledge & Industry Expertise:
* Stay updated on industry trends, technical developments, and regulatory changes related to wire and cable products.
* Ensure the sales team has up-to-date knowledge of product offerings, including specifications, applications, and benefits of various solutions (e.g., electrical wiring, fiber optics, coaxial, etc.).
* Sales Reporting & Forecasting:
* Prepare accurate sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
* Track sales metrics and analyze performance to identify areas for improvement and growth.
* Provide detailed feedback on customer needs and product performance to assist with product development and marketing.
* Collaboration:
* Work closely with the marketing, procurement, and operations teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery of products.
* Coordinate with the technical team to offer tailored solutions and ensure that customer specifications are met.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
* 5+ years of experience in sales, with a strong background in the wire and cable product industry or a related technical field.
* Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets and growing client accounts.
* Strong leadership skills, with experience managing and motivating a sales team.
* In-depth knowledge of wire and cable products, market trends, and customer requirements.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Ability to travel as required for client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.
