Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Residential Child Care Worker to join our team at North Lakes. This part-time, permanent position involves working 20 hours per week on a shift pattern.
Salary Details
As an unqualified candidate, you can expect a basic salary of £12,428.63 pro rata (£26,100.12 FTE) per annum, with the potential to earn up to £15,685.91 with sleep-in shifts. Qualified candidates can look forward to a basic salary of £12,875.20 pro rata (£27,037.92 FTE) per annum, with a potential earning capacity of up to £16,132.48 with sleep-in shifts.
Job Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing daily care and support to children in our residential setting, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. This role requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess relevant experience working with children or young people, preferably in a similar setting. A qualification in childcare or a related field is highly desirable, although not essential. Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a non-judgmental approach are also required.
