Accounts Payable Assistant Nigel Wright are proudly working with an established business in Middlesbrough seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant on an initial 6- Month Contract. This role offers good hybrid working arrangements and will suit candidates available on short notice. The Role Your day to day duties in this role will include: • Process supplier and intercompany invoices• Review and check invoices• Investigate and deal with queries from internal and external customers• Supplier statement reconciliations• Work alongside other teams to clear invoices• Answering emails from own and shared email boxes• Confirmation of bank details for new and existing suppliers• Adhoc duties: reporting, answering phone calls and other duties as directed by manager The Candidate Ideally, you will possess the following skills/experience: • Minimum 2 years in a purchase ledger/ accounts payable role. • Communicate effectively at all levels within the organisation. • Highly Organised• Attention to Detail• Ability to Use Own initiative.• Competent in all Microsoft packages with particular emphasis on Excel (Vlookup, Pivot Tables)• Ability to think analytically, to problem solve and have good attention to detail.
