Base Location: Glasgow, Perth
Salary: £63,000 - £94,400 (subject to experience) + car / car allowance + performance-related bonus + a range of benefits to support your finances, wellbeing, and family.

The role
We are looking for a Procurement and Commercial Manager to support the Offshore Asset Management team to keep our fleet of offshore WTG's and associated infrastructure to achieve maximum availability. Candidates should have pre and post contract experience of high-value contracts preferably within Renewables or a similar industry.
You will
1. Work closely with Asset Management colleagues in operations and engineering to ensure delivery of production and delivery targets across the portfolio of assets, developing contract strategies for all major packages aligned with Offshore Asset Management Business.
2. Lead an established Procurement & Commercial team to manage delivery of annual demand plans, budget production, and procurement within challenging timescales.
3. Oversee supply chain delivery value circa £150m per annum across all assets.
4. Engage regularly with Category Managers and the Head of Procurement & Commercial to ensure a coordinated, effective, and efficient service to the business.
5. Comply with all safety policies and procedures, promoting safety and safe working practices.
6. Understand and support the development of relationships with main suppliers/contractors and deliver all projects/contracts within the approved budget authorisations.
You have
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:
1. An understanding of offshore wind markets, asset management support contracts, and procurement strategies.
2. Quantity Surveying Degree or equivalent direct entry to a recognized appropriate professional body preferred.
3. Experience in a similar role responsible for leading a team, procuring, and managing contracts.
4. Understanding of supply chain concepts and how to improve them.
5. Demonstrable stakeholder engagement and management skills.
