Adult Social Care in Middlesbrough is delighted to have secured funding for a new and exciting Learning Disability Development Lead post. Taking an innovative approach, the Development Lead will play a pivotal role in helping to shape an inclusive service that enhances the lives of individuals with Learning Disabilities in Middlesbrough. Development, planning and hands-on implementation will be key aspects of this role. The Development Lead will be based within the Learning Disability Social Work Team and will engage with key stakeholders such as community members, service providers, and health and social care colleagues.
This role is crucial in creating an inclusive and supportive offer that promotes independence and enhances the lives of the individuals we support. Additionally, the Development Lead will collaborate with the Prevention and Support Services Lead to review and reform learning disability support strategies that will ultimately reshape service delivery.
